Then, on to a preferred customer treatment day of indulgence at  The Spa of Essex.  Anticipate a full hour Swedish massage, a back-to-back classic pedicure and manicure, and a wonderful mini facial.  Oh, so relaxing.... you will feel completely renewed.  On to one of the nearby casinos, theaters, wineries, or dine at one of our wonderful restaurants just around the corner.  Reserve your room and your day of indulgence now.  Ahhh.

Off to the beach ~ one block away, or a trip to the beautiful Salt Marsh Preserve, Rocky Neck or Hammonasset State Park, all nearby.  Just the two of you.  We supply the blanket, food, glasses ~ all you will need for the perfect picnic experience.  Your choice of wrap or sandwich will accompany the cheese, fruit, homemade sweets and soft drink or bottled water. Or, how about a loaf of crusty bread with herb infused olive oil and olive tapenade or a pate on the side in place of the wrap or sandwich?  Your basket is ready for you to head out for your adventure!  Come, let us pamper you. Then on to the Indian River Marina where the Hammonasset, Indian and Hammock Rivers converge on their way to Long Island Sound.  Rob and his staff will be waiting for you.  Kayak or canoe for 1/2 day along fascinating tidal wetlands and serene fl atwater perfectly suited for the nature lover or the beginning paddler.
